Coorg Jewellery

The jewellery worn by Coorg women have a distinct look. Coorg style bracelets have become popular with non-Coorgs, especially in cities like Mysore and Bangalore. Though some of the jewelers in Bangalore make Coorg pattern bracelets, the authentic pattern is only made by a few jewellers in Coorg. Some of the Coorg jewels are hollow and lac is filled inside to give them a sturdy appearance.

Coorg is a tourist paradise for nature lovers. Some of the famous tourists spots, include the Raja’s Seat in Madikeri, Talacauvery, the birthplace of river Cauvery and the Rajiv Gandhi National Park (Nagarahole).
